His wife lives in Dunedin. Private Laurence Douglas Mills reported killed in action, was a member of the Kiwi International League team which visited England in 1939 Son of Mrs. I. Mills. Grey Lvnn he was educated at Mount Albert Grammar School. He was a member of the Richmond Football Club from school grade up. Avondae Educated at the Seddon Memorial Technical College, he was a member of the R.N.Z.V.R. before the outbreak of war. He was stationed at a signal station m England for over a vear before being transferred to the Neptune. Posted missing eight months ago Driver Bernard Swears is a prisoner of war according to official advice .received by his parents. Mr. and Mr* JW. Swears, of Pokeno Valley Driver Swears went through the Greek campaign and was taken prisoner on ■ Crete. News that a number of New Zea- \ landers formerly posted as are prisoners of war hr - been received in Auckland from the Vatican radio.
