OVER 370 MISSING THIRTY-ONE WOUNDED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A New Zealand Expeditionary Force casualty list issued to-ni,£?ht reports 23 officers and 351 other ranks 10 be missing. Of these two men are also wounded, and 11 officers and 22!} other ranks are believed to be prisoners. One offieor and 30 other ranks are reported to be wounded. AUCKLAND NAVAL RATING ' Included as missing in the list of naval losses just issued is ActingEngineroom Artificer James Alexander Simpson, of Auckland, who was with one of H.M. ships overseas. A younger brother of Mr. Victor Kennedy Simpson, of 84, Karangahape Road, James Alexander Simpson was educated at Mount Eden School and Kowhai

Junior High School, after which he entered into employment with Messrs. Alex. Harvey and Sons. Early in the war Mr. Simpson joined the navy, and he was on the motor vessel Rangitane on the way to England when the ship was shelled in the Atlantic. Attached for a time to the naval barracks, Chatham, he was later transferred to a naval unit on service in the Mediterranean. Mr. Simpson was married and his wife lives in Auckland.
