NEW LYNN WOMAN'S £2000.
A happy Christmas will be enjoyed by the winner of the art union, "Our Christmas Holiday," Mrs. F Hill of 43, Portage Road, New Lynn.' Despite the fact that she has held tickets in art unions for a number of years, Mrs. Hill has never before won a prize. She first heard the welcome news over the radio while she was washing the breakfast dishes. At first she was doubtful if she had heard correctly, but she was reassured when the number of ? winning ticket was repeated Mrs. Hill regards her good fortune as exceptional, as she delayed purchasing until the majority of the tickets in New Lynn * had been sold, although her husband had urged her to buy cm. A mother of five children, all of whom are married. Mrs. Hill has so far made no plans for the use of the money, except to complete the payment of her home.
