DAY OF PRAYER
Rec. 1 p.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 23. President Roosevelt has proclaimed New Year's Day a day of prayer for "the asking of forgiveness for our past shortcomings, consecration to the tasks of the present, and asking God's nelp in the days to come."
