TRAINING JUST COMPLETED The day after lie had completed his training Pilot-Officer Alexander George Wicks, whose brother, Mr. Norman Wicks, resides in Devonport, was killed In an aircraft accident in England. Pilot-Officer Wicks was educated at Dllworth School
and took a prominent part In the school sports. He was later employed at the works of Messrs. Alex Harvey and Sons as a welder. He left in June for Canada, and while there was granted a commission as pilot-officer. He completed his training in England on December 9.
