FOUR MEN KILLEO MISSING PIAXB FOUND (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Royal New Zea'and Air Force aircraft which was reported missing on the night of December 15 during operational exercises from Nelson wa s located to-day near Cape Flarewell, the north-west extremity of the South Island. It was wrecked, the crew of four were apparent?

killed instantly when the aircraft crashed near the summit of the 700 ft peak. The occupants of the machine were:—

The crash occurred at night, the aircraft striking within 30ft of th° top of a hill west of Pakawau. near Westhaven Inlet. Cape Farewell Wreckage fell down the slope anJ caught fire.
