Following the formation of a New Zealand Air Force Rugby team, it is now proposed to raise a representative team from the New Zea'and Army group, units of which have been playing successfully against local clubs and British Service units. ARMY TAKES ACTION Rec. noon. NEW YORK, Dec. 22. A San Francisco message states that when the so-called Independent Union of Welders called a strike and announced that they would picket east coast shipyards on Monday. the army announced that it was prepared to use force to prevent molestation of men wanting to work strike-bound plants. The troops were ordered to march in to guard tha vital shipyards.
