SCIENTIFIC WORKERS
At a largely attended meeting in Wellington a body was formed, to be called the New Zealand Association of Scientific Workers, with the object of pooling individual resources to assist the war effort and to aid in post-war reconstruction. The executive . appointed was instructed to organise divisions of tlie association throughout New Zealand. The following were elected to the executive: —President, Dr. W. B. Sutch; vice-president, Dr. W. R. B. Oliver; secretary, Mr. J. T. Salmon; treasurer, Dr. C. O. Hutton; provisional executive, Drs. L. I. Grange, Jv Marwick, L. R. Richardson, Messrs. A. E. Hefford, C. S. Plank, A. D. Munro, R. L. Andrew and N. T. Clare.
