AIR FORCE RECRUITS
FINE TYPE OP APPLICANT
Any tendency towards foreboding jin the present crisis would be dispelled by watching applicants for the air force pass through the hands of the selection committee. They are excellent both in physique and mentality.
That was the reaction of a Star reporter after watching the selection committee (air crew), consisting of, Sguadron-Leader A. C. McArthur, Air Headquarters, Wellington, who is chairman, and an education officer at work in Auckland to-day. The committee has just completed a selection tour of the Taranaki, East Coast and Hawkes Bay districts, and today and to-morrow will interview about 200 applicants in Auckland.
