Mr. Justice Callan has returned to e Auckland. Mr. J. Stanton, city solicitor, has returned from the South. Mr. R. J. Kerridge, managing-direc-tor of Kerridge Theatres. Ltd.. returned to Auckland on Saturday. Mr C. A. Furlong and Mr. F. B. Stephens, of the Department of Internal Affairs, ar£at the Grand Hotel. .• „*>• Paikea. representative of the Maori race on the Executice Council, arrived from the South on Saturday. • H- Watt, Director-General ot the Health Department, and Mr. F. J. Fenton, inspecting house manager, will leave for tne South to-night. Mr. C. A. Jeffery, chief secretary to the Prime Minister, who was iria I P olor accident in the East last May, has returned to Wellington from Rotorua. Although he is making good progress he is not yet able to take up his duties again.
