PRISONERS OF WAR
ADVICE SENT TO RELATIVES
Captain Trevor R. Atchley has been officially reported missing and believed to be a prisoner of war. He was employed in the stock department of Dalgety and Co, Ltd., Hamilton, before joining the Expeditionary Force. His wife resides at Timaru.
Mrs. C. Billings, Hauraki Plains, has been advised that her son, Sapper A. H. Billings, is in a transit camp in Crete. He left New Zealand with the Third Echelon.
Driver O. J. Thompson, who was reported missing in Crete, is now reported to be a prisoner of war. Advice U> this effect has been received by his wife, Mrs M. Thompson, Blake Street, Ponsonby. Mr. G. Delaney, Mardon Road. Claudelands, has received a postcard from his son, Private Norman Delaney, advising that he is in a German prison camp and is well. He took part in the Greek and Crete campaigns. When he enlisted he was employed in the Public Trust Office, Hamilton.
