Australia, Ahoy!

Here are several more names of Australian boys and girls anxious to hear from New Zealanders with similar interests. Why don't YOU write to one of these children? Pen friendships are always interesting and educative, and this is a good chance for you to learn something first-hand about the big country over the Tasman. Noel Aldenhoven, Culgoa, Victoria, would like a pen friend aged ten or eleven. Noel is interested in sport, and promises to answer all letters. Margaret Allen, Goderick Street, Deloraine, Tasmania, would like to hear from New Zealanders aged about eleven or twelve, interested in cycling, basketball and reading. Joan Towning, 157, Anzac Road, Mount Hawthorn, Perth,. West Australia, is particularly keen for a New Zealand friend. Joan is eleven years old and interested in reading,- music and sports. Trevor Kimball, c/o R. P. Lewers, Box 27, Benalla, Victoria, is sixteen years old, and would like pen pals of either sex, interested in sports, reading or photography. He would like a snap, if possible, with the first letter. Trevor wrote a very fine letter to Peter Pan, and the latter is sure he Would make an excellent correspondent. Donald Smith, 45, Cavell Street, West Hobart, Tasmania, would like to hear from boys aged about twelve and interested in sports, particularly model plane flying. Maevis Robinson, 4, Wellington Street, Bunbury, West Australia, would like to hear from boys or girls interested in photography, cycling, sport and dancing. She is fifteen. Desmond Powell, 22, Adelaide Street, Murrumbeena, Melbourne, Victoria, is fourteen years of age, and interested in all sport. Desmond promises to answer all letters. Joan Dunstan, 27, Jervois Street, East St. Kilda, Melbourne, Victoria, would like pen friends between the ages of fourteen and seventeen. Joan is keen on reading, sport, stamps and hiking.
