LATE M.P.'s FUNERAL
(P.A.) TIMARU# Tuesday. The funeral of the late Mr. T. D. Burnett, M.P., to-day was attended by representatives of every iimportant organisation in the district. After a short service at the house the funeral proceeded to St. David's Church, Cave, which was erected by the Burnett family in memory of pioneers of the district. The burial took place at the Mount Cook- station. The Government was represented by the Hon. D. G. Sullivan and the Opposition by Mr. S. G. Holland, the Hno. Adam Hamilton, Mr. H. S. S. Kyle and Mr. C. Kidd.
