N.Z. AIRMEN IN MALAYA
TWO UNITS OPERATING
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Minister of Defence, Mr. Jones, announced that two Royal New Zealand Air Force units were now operating in Malaya, one on aerodrome construction and the other on flying duties. The units are fully comprised of New Zealanders and are under the control of the Royal Air Force Far Eastern Command. In addition, Royal New Zealand Air Force pilots are serving with Royal Air Force units in that command. The Minister also stated that mail for New Zealanders in Air Force units in the Far East should be addressed care of Royal Air Force Headquarters, Far East Command. Singapore.
