AIR PROMOTIONS
Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Jacobs, Jesmond Terrace. Mount Albert, have been advised that their son. Leading-Air-craft man V. Jacobs, has been promoted pilot-officer. He was educated a; Mount Albert Grammar School and before leaving for Canada last February was engaged in the teaching profession at Ngaruawahia. Cable advice has been received by Mr. and Airs. Mervyn Wells, Cambridge, that their son, Flight-Lieu tenant E. P. Wells, D.F.C. and bar. has been promoted squadron-leader.
