DOCTOR'S FEE REFUNDS
Some poor pensioners are going to suffer much delay in obtaining repayment of medical fees owing to faulty design of the form. Examine the form—Mrs. James Smith, wife of James Smith, has no apparent connection with Mrs. Maud Smith, No. 66666 A, that Social Security records give to the Health Department. Confusion confounded will soon reign unless doctors are speedily instructed to correct patients in making their claim. On the face of it this lack of cooperation was designed as a trap in which only the poor will become mauled, but unfortunately the Government will he blamed by manv victims for its lack of foresight.
