WOMEN'S REST ROOM
As the result of a deputation from the United Women's Movement, the Newmarket Borough Council has expressed its willingness to make available a women's rest room in the Newmarket shopping area. Temporary accommodation will be provided in the Municipal Chambers, and the council has promised a more adequate building after the war. The deputation to the council carried a petition signed by some hundreds of local women.
