MALAYAN TIN TAX
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 17. The council of the Tin Producers' Association passed a resolution urging the immediate withdrawal of the Malayan tin export tax. It was stated the tax amounted to £60 a year and was prohibitive. It was the only example within the British Empire of discrimination against •buyers of non-British nationality.
