AUCKLAND PRODUCE
BARLEY SUPPLIES EXPECTED The following is the weekly official market report of the Auckland Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants' Association:— Wheat.—A shipment is expected, and orders are being booked for dispatch from ship's side. Good supplies are held by merchants and the price is steady at from 7/3 to 7 4 a bushel.
Maize.—A normal demand continues for maize, and. the market is steady at from 7/8 to 7/10 a bushel.
Stockmeal. —A shipment is expected and orders are being booked at the ex ship delivery price of £10 10/ a ton. less 114 per cent, f.0.r./b., for a minimum of one ton. Fair stocks are held by merchants and the price from merchants' stores Is steady at from £10 17/6 to £11 10/ a ton Oats, —The demand for oats Is quiet with a firm market, due to lack of supplies. The price is from 5/3 to 5/4 a bushel.
Barley.—A shipment of Australian barley is to arrive and the price has been specially reduced to Induce sales for dispatch from ship's side. The price is 4/11 a bushel for a minimum of 10 sacks cash before dispatch. Consumers are now offered an opportunity of securing their requirements in barley at a reasonable figure. Good stocks are held by merchants and the through store price remains unaltered at undipped 5/10 to 6/ a bushelclipped, 6/3 to 6/6.
Barleymeal.-Best quality is worth from £13 to £13 15/ a ton.
Bran. —Stocks are very. low. Chaff .—The demand is quiet. Ample supplies % r fn Vf, ? i , market f steady at from £10 15/ to £11 10/ a ton.
