CHURCH BAZAAR
The Henderson Anglican Church held a bazaar in the Town Hall supper room, when Canon P. Houghton was present on his first formal visit to the Henderson parish. The bazaar was opened by Mrs Houghton. There was a good display of fancy goods and sweets on the stalls. Musical and elocutionary items were given during the afternoon and evening. The takings proved very satisfactory.
