McMillan, Government, member of Parliament for Dunedin West, has announced his intention iof retaining his seat, states a Press! Association message. Previously Dr. I I McMillan stated that he desired to retire from politics, but he considered his immediate resignation would create discord by a by-elec-tion at this critical time.
