FIGHTING FORCES LEAGUE
• OBJECTS AM) OFFICERS At a meeting of members of the Fighting Forces League (Political) last night, Mr. Hugh C. Kendal reported upon the progress made by the league. It was evident, he said, that the divided political state of the country was not in the best interests of the people. Among the aims and objects set forth in the constitution, which was adopted, were the restoration of personal freedom, the removal from i .Ministers of the Crown of dictatorial powers over the rights and liberties of the people, reduction in the cost of radio licenses, elimination of abuse of broadcasting party politics and a constructive rehabilitation scheme to cover both fit and unfit discharged members of the fighting forces. The following officers were clcclpri :— Prcr kirn!. Mr. Hugh G. Kendal: hon. secret-irv. Mr. A L. Tcwer; lion, treasurer. Mr. A. CHnHelu: hon. solicitor. Mr. N. R. W. Thomas: executive. Messrs.
