Wheat.—Orders are now being booked for dispatch from ship's side on arrival of a shipment expected shortly. Pair stocks are held by merchants, and Immediate requirements, which are heavy, are being supplied from store stocks at from 7/3 to 7/4 per bushel. Maize.—Good stocks of maize are held, and the price through merchants' stores is 7/6 to 7/a per bushel. Lower prices are available for a minimum of 10 sacks, cash before dispatch, for direct railing from the Bay cf Plentv, viz., 6 3 per bushel. For dispatch straight from ship's side. Auckland, cash before dispatch, for a minimum of 10 sacks, the price is 6/lUi per bushel. Stoekmeal.—Shipments arrived last week and orders booked for ex ship dispatch were fulfilled Supplies are held locally, and the market is steady at late rates. Oats.—The demand Is slow, but the market firm due to limited offerings in the South. The price is from 5/3 to 5/4 per bushel. Barley.—The demand is quiet, and good supplies are held. Prices: Undipped. 5/10 to 6/ per bushel; clipped, a/3 to 6/6 bushel. Barley Meal. — £13 to £13 15/ per ton. Bran.—Bran is in short supply, and orders are being rationed. Chaff.—The chaff market is steady, and the price unaltered at from £10 15/ to £11 10, per ton.
