AIIR CRASH VICTIM
BELGIAN SPORTSMAN'S DEATH
' President of the International Olympic Games Committee, Counte de Baillet-Latour, has been killed in the crash of an R.A.F. Ferry Command transport aeroplane, according to an announcement from London. The count, a prominent Belgian sportsman, who presided over the organisation of the 1936 Olympic Games, visited the Dominion nine years ago. Born in Brussels in 1876. ho took up a diplomatic career, but spent much of his life in the furtherance of varied sporting interests.
