GIFT TO HOSPITAL
CHEQUE FROM NEW ZEALAND Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 5. Mrs. Jordan, wife of the New Zealand High Commissioner in London, handed over to the matron of Queen Charlotte Marternity Hospital a cheque for £1000, comprising £250 from the the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Society for the Protection of Women and Children, and £750 from the New Zealand National Patriotic Fund.
