ARMY 'KEEPERS
Captain W. A. Oldfield left for Melbourne on Sunday night to complete his tank corps training. "Bertie" recently received a letter from Stan. Sismey, former Shield stumper, from Ontario, Canada. Sismey is a leading aircraftman in the R.A.A.F. An Army team, after the war, will be able to make a choice of 'keepers from Oldfield, Barnett (Victorian captain), Walker (South Australia skipper), Sismey and Saggers.
