AIR TRAINING BASES
I often notice when reading of the brave deeds our airmen are performing overseas, the planes they bring down, etc., etc.. but we never fail to mention where they received their training. In my opinion it is a great help to the enemy agent here in New Zealand. Why cannot we refer to our air bases with a number and not the name of the township? We are all proud to know we turn out some of the finest pilots the world has known from New Zealand base? That is our business. lam sure this point is most vital at the present time. Why should we tell Japan where we train our boys? A stitch in time I SAY.
