DEATH AT 88
The death has occurred of Mr George Turley, of First Avenue, Kingsland, aged 88. Mr. Turlov came with his wife to New Zealand from Staffordshire, England, in 1883 and took up employment in the hardware trade. The couple celebrated their diamond jubilee eight years ago but Mrs. Turley predeceased her husband, who is survived by five daughters and two sons.
