SILK STOCKINGS
STILL BEING CONSIDERED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The question of easing the shortage of silk stockings in the Dominion is still being investigated by the Government, according to a statement made to-night by the acting-Prime Minister, Mr. Nash, who said that methods to obtain a more equitable distribution of available supplies were being considered.
Information, he said, was being sought from Britain regarding the possibility of importing additional supplies and also distribution methods.
