REMUERA SEAT
NATIONAL PARTY
BALLOT CONCLUDING TO-DAY
Ballot papers, returnable to-day, have been sent out to members of the National party in the Remuera electorate in order to select a candidate for the next general election. The members of the party have been asked to answer "Yes" or "No" to the following question:—"ln view of the circumstances which have arisen regarding the candidature for the Remuera electorate, do you consider that Mr. Endean should be accepted as the party candidate at the forthcoming election?"
If the result of the referendum is definitely against Mr. Endean, the committee, at the request of present nominees, and in order to remove any doubt on the constitutional position, proposes to again call for 'nominations.
The following had submitted their names for selection: Miss E. Melville and Messrs. J. R. Butland, B. H. Kingston, M. J. Moodabe and A. Tronson.
