FORMER BRITISH CHAMPION Owing to the sudden illness of Ernie Underwood, the main professional boxing bout on Monday night at the Town Hall has been changed to a professional welter-weight contest between a newcomer to Auckland. Jim Molloy. a former British amateur champion, and Vic CaKaux. Molloy was unbeaten amateur champion of Great Britain, and had a particularly successful professional career there. In Australia recently, Molloy secured three wins and a draw in four contests. The LittleMcKay return bout will take place as arranged. The amateur bouts are:—S. Harris (Ewens) v. E. Spitalhouse (Butler). N. Wakefield (Northern) v. A. G. Brear (Fire Brigade). Bill Boreham (Auckland Gym.) v. Phil Gordon (Wanganui).
