Since his return from Riccarton the Beau Pere galloper has gone on the right way, and he should be at the peak of his form for his engagements at Randwick. It m understood that W. H. Baron Bold, with J. Toki in tihe saddle, was schooled over six liurdles yesteiday and jumped splendidly. He is engaged in the hack hurdles and the gentlemen riders' ra<;e at the Wanganui meeting at Awapuni nest week, and if he begins right must .'be hard to beat in whichever event he starts.
