FARMERS' FREEZING CO. RECORD PRODUCE HANDLED A dcc-ieaae in net profit of £7745 to £21,171 is fchown in the balanee-eheet of the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company. Limited, for the year endc-d June 30. The figure is struck after providing for depreciation and taxation. With the balance of £4842 brought forward the total available is £20.013. The unchanged dividend of 0 per cent requires £ 16,510 and £5000 is transferred to reserve, leaving £4503 to be carried forward.

The report states that in addition to the stock killings (reported in the Star on August 11). the year's killings at Horotiu works tor consumption in the Hamilton abattoir district, were:—Cattle 6877. sheep 2J.412, lambs 1908, pits 2906, vealer calves 1322.

The quantity of butter received at King's *harf 2 hi export cold stores was 4.250.754 boxes. Under instructions from the Marketing Department. 86.225 boxes were, during the year, sent from Waikato factories to Wellington for freezing and shipment at that port. Cheese received amounted to 409.373 crates compared with last year's record of 298,571. Pruit received for cool storage amounted to 186.386 case*, which was 48,396 less than the previous year.
