HOCKEY LEADERS AGAIN DEFEATED BY SOMERVILLE

'VARSITY OUTCLASSED The Somerville-Unlversity game opened sensationally when three goals were scored in almost as many minutes. The University forwards attacked from the opening bully, and when Watson passed to Broun in a handy position he went In close to open the scoring. University 1. Somerville 0 Somervllle was quick to *etallate. A sharp attack finished in a melee in the University circle and Anderson snapped up an opportunity to score. University I, Somervllle 1. Again Somervllle took the offensive, when B. Marshall broke away In a spectacular dash Irom halfway. and although Revell came acrosa fast he failed to block the shot, which beat Belshaw and put Somervllle In the lead. Somervllle 2, University 1 Play ranged from end to end at a fast pace until Wallace dashed down the right to put University on the actack. R. Marshall, however, came well out to kick clear to the halfway, and Swinburne sent Downle »way on his own, only to Ibe repelled by the University backs. A big hit brought relief and sent Archibald streaking down the left to out-pace the University defence and beat the goalie with a nice shot. Somervllle 3. University 1. Still the Somervllle forwards continued to press, and then Wyatt followed In fast in a scramble in ' tie University circle and scored. Somervllle 4. University 1.
