(OX.) WHAXOAHKI. Frklav Many cases of mumps have occurred among the territorials in comn at Kensington Park and there are at present nine cases in " the Whangarei Hospital. Now German measles have appeared at the camp the first patient suffering from this complaint being admitted to hospital this morning. The medical superintendent of the hospital Dr J \V Hall said it was likely that a ward at the hospital would have to be closed for civilian cases and used exclusively for soldiers. About nine months ago this action had to be taken on account of the number of territorials in hospital, but then there was only one disease to contend with.
