Accommodation Of Men From
Greece And Crete
United Pi-ess Association. —CopyrigM. Rec. 2.30 p.m. LONDON". Aug. 15. New Zealand, Australian. British and Palestinian troops taken prisoner at Greece and Crete are in prison camps at Stalag ISA and Stalag 18D in Germany. British and Anzac officers are held in camp Oflag 58.
Reporting this, the International Red Cross Committee states that the camps are up to the standard of prison camps in Germany. Some of the prisoners in Stalag" ISD were housed in tents, but permanent buildings are nov." stated to be under construction.
There is no serious cause for complaint, but the men's chief needs are food and clothing, and these are being supplied as fast as possible from the reserve formed for this purpose by the International Red Cross Committee in Geneva.
