PILOT WOUNDED IN LEG
While cleaning a gun at 101, Federal Street, City, a pilot on leave from training at Whenuapai air base, suffered a gunshot wound in the left leg. He is Leading-Aircrafts-man Hilton James Currie, single, aged 24. Taken to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John ambulance. ho was admitted, but his condition is not serious.
