CLIPPER DELAYED
HELD UP AT NOUMEA
HEAVY STORM IN PACIFIC Pan-American Airways' California Clipper, which left Auckland yesterday morning on the first stage of her flight to San Francisco, arrived at Noumea at 5.8 in the afternoon, and is being held there owing to a severe storm which is sweeping the South Pacific. Her departure to-morrow is expected to be possible.
