ACCEPTANCES TO-DAY Acceptances for the Pakuranga Hunt Club's meeting to be held at Ellerslie tomorrow week close to-day at 5 p.m. The list will be published in an edition of the Star on sale shortly afterwards. TROTS POSTPONED MEETING ON AUGUST 23 (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday! The Metropolitan Trotting Club has obtained permission from the Minister of Internal Affaire, the Hon. W. E. Parry, to hold a meeting on August 23, replacing to-morrow's programme, which has been postponed.
