NORTHERN MAORI SEAT
NATIONAL PARTY SELECTION (0.C.) WHANG AREI, this day. From six nominations, Mr. Eru Pou, of Kaikohe, has been selected to contest the Northern Maori seat in Parliament in the National partv interest. The seat is at present held by the Hon. P. K. Paikea (Labour). The selection was made at a representative meeting held at Waiomio. which continued throughout the night.
