Colonel W. G. Stevens. CBE Royal New Zealand Artillerv. who is serving overseas with the' Expeditionary Force, has been promuteu to brigadier.
Mr. J. Murray, of Wellington ha~ been appointed a member of the National War Funds Council in place of the late Sir Charles Luke, according to the " Gazette."
Dr. F. J. Gwynne. who has been elected president of the New Zealand section of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Radiologists. returned from Wellington ves-lern.-ay after attending the annual meeting of the association.
