NEW BLADES FOR OLD.—Damaged airscrews are not consigned to the scrap heap unless they are battered beyond repair. They are sent t> a special factory, where they receive the necessary attention at the hands of experts and are returned to the R.A.F. for further service. It is estimated that most airscrews can be made serviceable again.
