PRESENTATIONS
To farewell Mr. 1). W. Dunlop, who has retired from the position of secretary ot the Auckland Education Board after 50 years' service, the executive of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Teacthers' Instit'ute, with the executives of the headmasters', women tcachcre' and assistant masters' association, held a meeting when Mr. Dunlop was presented with a travelling rug by the president of the Auckland branch. Mr. L. J. Hogwood. and Mrs. Dunlop with a bouquei". A farewell was extended at Hamilton to Mr. V. L. Kerr, who for the past 11 years has been in charge of the Shell Oil Company's depot at Frankton. and who is resigning to enter business, by members oi the staffs ot' the company's branches at' Hamilton, Te Kuiti. Rotoiua, Paeroa and Pukekohe. Mr. Kerr was presented with a wristlet watch and Mis. Kerr with a vase. A gathering of residents of the Taniaki district farewelled Constable C. E. Collins, who is retiring from the Police Force, and Mrs. Collins at a social evening at Mission Bay. On behalf of the residents. Major R. G. Blackett, M.C., presented Constable Collins with a fountain pen. Mrs. Collins received a of cut crystal. Mr. and Mrs. Collins are going to live at Ngnruawahia. After 34 years' service as church organist. Mr. K. Craston, who lias retired, was presented with a cheque and a silver tea service for Mrs. Craston and himself at the annual meeting of St. David's congregation. Mr. A. Taylor, who recently resigned from the position of church officer, and Mrs. Taylor, were given a cheque and a dinner service, with a silver inscribed jewel box for .Tune Taylor.
