ANNUAL MEETING. HELD

* The fourth annual meeting of the Methodist Women's Guild Fellowship was held in Pitt Street school hall yesterday, there being a morning and a short afternoon session. The retiring president, Mrs. E. S. Bennett, presided, 24 guilds being represented. Mrs. K. E. Jones, secretary, gave a resume of the year s work. On behalf of the executive, Mrs. W. A. Cooke paid a warm tribute to Mrs. Bennett for her invaluable work during the past two years, and presented her with a bouquet. The retiring member, Mrs. Hodge, was presented with a shoulder spray by Mrs. Bennett. ~ . The afternoon session was presided over by the new president, when 19 guilds presented reports, among them being Mrs. F. P. Roget's report on the contact with country guilds. The communion service was taken bv R°v. W. Walker, president-elect for the Methodist Conference for 1942. The address was given by the Rev E T. Olds, while the Revs. A. E Waite, H. C. Matthews, H. J.
