REVENUE IX AUCKLAND
There was an increase of £23 9?6 in Customs revenue in Auckland'for the past month, compared vrith the corresponding period of last year The revenue for the seven months' period ended July 31 was £1.648,035, a decrease of £295,686 as compared with the same period last year
The July revenue, with the figures for July, 1940, in parentheses was:—Customs, £257.514 <£233 588> : excise on beer, £29 954 <£>7 116>' sales tax, £93,924 ( £95.90S >: ' Waf Expenses Account, £l io SGS (£19,289). !
The-figures for the seven months' period ending July 31. with the figures for the seven months" period ot I'MO in parentheses, were—Customs, £1,648,035 "£1.91.3 7211-"excise on beer. £191.232 <£177 967>- sales tax. £662,057 (£653,538>: War Expenses Account, £769.200 (£128.844)
