RESTRICTIONS LIFTED
(0.C.) WHANGAREI, this day. All restrictions imposed by the Health Department on the movement and gathering of Maoris in the Bay of Islands have now been removed. The restrictions were imposed on account of the further cases of spinal meningitis in the district, but over a fortnight has now passed without any new cases being reported. The military authorities lifted the restrictions on troop movements and parades last week.
