MORE FIRES STARTED South African Pilots Back After Being Shot Down British Official WSrel«-K*. Roc. 1 p.m. RUGRY, June 28. An R.A.F. communique from the Middle Kast Males that in the course of normal offensive patrols in the Western Desert yesterday the R-A.F. machine-jTurintd and destroyed a number of enemv motor transport vehicles. During the night of June 18-19 shipping in I'.engasi was bombed. Harbour buildings were demolished by direct hits, and a number of fires were .started. Two South African Air Force pilots reported missing on June 16 have rejoined their units. Before they were shot down ihcv destroyed in combat over our troops one Messerschmitt 1 O!?, one GSO and two Junkers ST. There is nothing <>i importance to report on other fronts and ail our planes have returned safely.
