RUGBY, June 20. ctatpc thnt A ,ini ?, try v. com munique i e Bomber Command last night attacked industrial targets at Cologne and Dusseldorf. Two of our planes are mi»;ing from these operations. This is the ninth night m succession that the R.a.F. nas attacked objectives in the heart of industrial Germany. It is learned that two enemv aircraft were destroyed by our fighters over the Channel to-day. According to an earlier cable British bombers, with fi«?hter escorts, on Thursday made 'their fourth daylight sweep on Northern I* ranee. Amohg the objectives were the docks at Le Havre, where hits were scored on wharves and oil tanks. An enemy supply ship was hit ofl the French coast. Little opposition was encountered from enemy lighters, one of which was destroyed. No British aeroplanes were lost. The official Russian newspaper "Red Star" states that in a recent British raid on Hamburg five German submarines anchored in the port and a shipyard were destroyed. In the Ruhr there has been a considerable decrease in production at the Krupp works.
