In its review of the China-N.S.W. Soccer match, in which the visitors equalised to 4 all after being down I—l, and then lost 4—6, "The Sporting Globe" stated: The fact that three players, two Chinese and one Sydney man were taken from the ground injured and did not return was proof that players of both teams played hard. China's defenders were splendid tacticians, but their half-backs could r a from Coolahan, the N.S.W. captain. In the early stages, Coolahan was outwitted by Hung and Hau and once bitten.
