CAMP SCHEDULE
TERRITORIAL UNITS
TRAINING FOR THIS YEAR
From official sources it was learned to-day that, with the exception of Mounted Rifle units, all territorials in mobilised units in the Northern Military District will undergo 14 days' training in camp and 16 days out of camp during the year started June 1. This does not apply to territorials who have not already done their three months' intensive training. Provision is made for 18 days in camp and 12 out of camp for Mounted Rifle units.
The schedule applies to officers and men alike.
It is unlikely that the camp training will be undertaken until the summer. Out-of-camp training includes week-ends, half and full days. This training schedule applies particularly to units which completed their intensive training in the year ended May 30. Newly-mobilised men will go into camp for three months' training as called by ballot. Notices have been sent to a large number to enter camp at Avondale on July 1, while others will be called in the fifth territorial ballot on June 24. No date for their entry into camp has yet been announced.
